I don't know.

Why can't anyone just give us what we pay, what we get, and what 'intangible' lobbocks they claim we get.

Stay in.
Because I like Europe.....
.....and because like it or not, we have to deal with the EU as an entity whether in or out, but if we're out have no influence on what they're up to.

Why do we need to influence 'what they are up to'?

eg. If you trade with them you are subject to their rules anyway - at least regarding what you sell them, but as non EU member have no say in what the rules are.

people who want out of europe are the same people who are scared of the large hadron collider, and don't understand how the clocks going forward/back works

The problem is that this poll only gives an in or out vote , the third way is more attractive that is to remain as a trading partner , thats what was voted for in 1972 not full political joined at the hip marriage.

Not sure you will have that option in the real life referendum either.

Large companies have warned they'd leave the uk if we left the eu . For example, Ford say that membership is key to their continued presence as employers here. EU membership 'critical' for UK says Ford executive - BBC News

As Ford has already moved most of its manufacturing base out of the UK , they will not be missed.

The 13,000 people they employ may not agree on that one.

Just as Apple adds value in America , Ford develops many of the products here in the UK but also produces the high-value engines here. Apple has its entire production outsourced to China.

A mere technicality Keithyboy. And the generally higher qualification level of those 13000 than that of manufacturing workers does help the economy to a degree which would be missed.
