I have a blonde lady who comes to sort me out once every four weeks, and I am so content with that arrangement, as it's in house.

No more sitting in line to be sheared by some rough handed sheep handler?

Big plus is her rate is a measley £6 quid, but I always give her more than that as she has fuel for her car to take into consideration?

I pay £6.50 every five weeks unless I am feeling mean when I stretch it to six weeks.

£6 and she comes to you? That's a bargain Zed!

I went about 6 years clipping my hair myself. When I went back to using a barbers I swear the going rate had doubled. I pay £9 - although generally just give them the tenner. I don't think I would willingly pay much more than that as standard. Although I did once go and have the full works including a cut-throat shave, and it came to about £50 all in To be fair, I was there for about an hour and a half.

My usual barber charges me £8.95 or a trimming and tidying, I always leave a tip for good service so I end up spending an even £10. The reason I left my previous barber was that he put his prices up and started charging £11 for a cut that 3 months earlier cost £9 The inner mingebag is strong when it comes to haircuts.

I know some ladies starts every day from haircut. Suppose it is not cut itself but just hair makeup.
My haircut ( scissors up, trimming rear and back, single wash afterwards ) costs 450-500 rbs equal to GBP5, per month. It was something about GBP8, half a year ago because of rate. This fare is unchanged.
just bear in mind. Foreigners are always succeeded to pay double or triple fare.

Mine was always £9, gave him £10 (always go to the same bloke, have done since I was a kid) then the price went up to £9.50 but I still give him £10... so really he's done himself out of 50p tip
