At least every 6 month.

Probably 3 or 4 times a year on average.

Not really fixed intervals.

I missed an appointment in 1972 and have never been back since, except for having all four wisdom teeth removed under local anaesthetic in hospital.

Just short of 12 months ago. Appointment on the 23rd of this month. I am going to try to get back to two annual visits/year this year.

2 weeks ago, I go every 5-6 months. 2013 had me paying 13K in dentist bills over and above my dental plan. Don't ask

My dentist booked my next appointment for September ! She obviously has faith in my gnashers judging by all the 4 - 6 month intervals so far, or is it because I'm NHS and you lot are having your blood, and money, drawn by private dentists ?

Bogies, do what the Kitteh tells you and get 'em checked

I'm NHS and my dentist sees me once a year. I did go for a period of 10 years from 18 to 28 without going but was lucky not to have caused any trouble for myself.

Greener. Probably worth going. When they start hurting it's a bit late.

Every 3 months, work pay for dental insurance so i use it while its there.

Glenda Just ring up your local dentists and ask them if they are taking on new NHS patients.

Hampshire Dental - Helping you to keep smiling

My last check up cost £18 and that included a clean by the dentist.

I see mine usually every six months. My teeth are fine but gums not so good so I like to get them checked regularly. No problem finding an NHS dentist here if you need one .

About two months before I broke a tooth last Christmas. She'll either want to pull it or crown it. Mrs K says she's going to drag me there soon. ****ing terrified!
