Didn't we agree that we would replace it with the word Dick instead?

Just because James May is an old hippy and uses it frequently on the BBC, it doesn't mean the word C ock isn't a swear word.

But it does beg the question, why are we still allowed to call someone a Fanny on here?

(I should say here, I am in no way suggesting the word Fanny applies to HM, as instigator of this thread).

Also, of course I have never, ever been a member there, but on that celebrated dating site Plenty of Fish, the amount of women who state that their ideal first date might be ****tails beggars belief, to say the least .

As far as I am concerned the word isn't a swear word. It has only become unacceptable due to people using it to refer to mens tackle.

For me it is something you do to a gun, a type of tap or a male chicken.

Really stupid that it censored, after all many other words are not.

Having daid that one forum I visit blanks out the word Dick.

The only time a woman's ever said to me "I've got a wet fanny" we were on a water ride at a US theme park. We did, after we'd regained our composure, explain why we'd looked so shocked!
