Best Looking Alfa Romeo dash since 1990

Time to make a poll of the Alfa dash thread.

If you look at the Alfa Romeo models that were introduced after 1990. Which dash do you like best?

Re: Best Looking Alfa Romeo dash since 1990

I'd vote for the RZ, as opposed to the SZ.

I reckon the SZ / RZ dashes are different enough to deserve a category each. Although they have the same layour, the SZ has black dials with white numerals and needles, while the RZ has white dials with black numerals and orange needles. Also, the SZ dash is covered in carbonfibre effect, while the RZ is plain black.

I've voted for the GTV, although I do think it could be enhanced with a few more gauges. I would have voted SZ/RZ but I've never seen one in the flesh.

The 164 was introduced before 1990 and that's why the 164 can't compete in this poll, despite the fact that I really like the 164 dash!

I had to draw the line somewhere because the option list in the polls are limited to 10.

Re: Best Looking Alfa Romeo dash since 1990

Just one sight of my mate's pre-facelift 147 started me on the road to buying Alfa's. I just adore it, it makes the cabin feel really special, its like nothing else that any other manufacturer produces.

Everything about it - the whole thing lit up in red when the lights are on (which I totally adore actually), the dials, the materials used, the lot! The number of other manufacturers that have copied AR's design is incredible:- the cowled dials (Mazda, Mercedes, et al), the needles resting vertical (Seat, Mazda again - on the RX8 and the new MX5). No-one else can match the thought thats gone into the design 147's dash though. Its just perfect, and I never tire of it.

I was all set to upgrade to a 2 litre 147 last year until the facelifted model came out, I just hate the fact that they changed it. Looks like I'll have to go for the GT next time after all. What a shame...

Too bad this doesn't include (for obvious reasons) the pre 1990 Alfas

Having owned a 146 Ti my vote goes her way. I just can't get by without lights in the indicator arms
