And please note that votes are secret and don't go asking me to change your vote once cast, as I can't do it

We just vote for one? I thought we voted for one from 'each lounge' hmm this will need more thinking.

My car is 16 years old today, have owned for 6 years, 60,000 fun miles in my possesion, replacement engine with only 58000 on the clock and a respray. Has done 139000 miles in total, engine replaced at 122000. Looks good in pics by the sea.

I have owned this car from June (but the project has been on going for 2 1/2 years) she started out as a completely standard 1.8 t.spark but was soon transformed using the 20VT from the Fiat Coupe. I've tried to hide the conversion on the outside as much as possible to keep the great looks of the standard 145.
And despite all this she is still my daily drive

My wife's Spider - 3.0 V6 - La Spider

I tried adding a couple of pictures to my profile/album but I'm apparently better at other things...

Here are a couple of pictures taken during our vacation last summer. One is of the proud owner preparing to make sandwiches along the way.
One is not of the car...

La Spider was purchased after we came to the conclusion that at our advanced age, a car should have a top that goes off. Just because. And also, because the kids are out of the house and taking care of themselves, a nice and cosy two-seater would be the way to go.
After having run a lot of cars overthe years, we also knew it had to be an Alfa.
With a Busso is what I had to say.

Voted for another Spider, by the way

When we found this one, the choice had been made - in fact, La Spider picked us, not the other way around.

In the meantime, both daughters have also discovered the joys of top down driving, and even though they are appalled at the thirst of La Spider, they still always bring her back with a full tank!
Exemplary

Oh and Bazza, would you be able to amend the thread you locked by inserting a link to this poll?

I would wager that not every user knows about the poll room.

Just thinking about it, There are cars I would vote for car of the year, and cars I would vote in each lounge, with only one vote how does that get accomplished. Otherwise the lounge winners are only going to be the cars with most votes in car of the year. I'm glad there are 2 classics, but I thought there had to be 3 cars in a section, unless I'm missing the 3rd car(have checked the list twice now). My car is only on here so the 145's could have 3 cars and Morris and Gaz could fight out a vote off. just saying.

Not had my GQV for very long but i picked it up on the way to a trackday at Llandow with a few other AO'ers and the maserati forum. Had lots of fun and then within a couple of weeks i had a full exhaust and remap done to it, i started a bit of a project thread on it here ->

https://www.alfaowner.com/Forum/alfa-...ng-my-gqv.html

Its now 301 bhp and sounds a lot better than it did as standard and i have got a few more plans for it when i get time and money spare Here's a few pics i took of it when i got it ->

Also thanks to john147 for putting my car in for this and also for taking these pics of it over the weekend

My !968 Giulia

Here are some pics of my '68 Giulia.

I bought the car in early March 2013, and shortly after that started repairing or replacing most of the suspension and brakes.
Also did a complete engine and gearbox rebuild, as well as a engine bay respray.
Other than that the paint and interior is still completely original
