If you do, you'll regret it later when you're tooling around in your eurobox and the spider prices eventually take off.
Buy an old Merc estate for under a grand and keep the spider.

You could get a smaller dog.

Or a bangernomics dog-mobile.

Or you could flog it and avoid people driving in to it, hood failures, expensive tyres, failing coil packs, more hood failures etc. I hear the Korean sh1tbox Hyundai range is very dog friendly.

Once saw an Irish Wolfhound on a lead coming out of the window of an E-Type. So unless the dog is really tiny might I suggest that as a solution

Haven't you got a van?

The question I would come back with is will it get used? If it won't I'd be inclined to say sell it and buy something you will use. A 156 or 159 SW or mebbe a 145?

The van is being traded in against our new vehicle and we just
don't really need the Spider anymore. It's been fun but is just an
extravagance really.

You just answered your own question. So I'm not voting.
This is no poll.

No spring run to Germany, just the 2/3/4 of us in 2014, to go get the glass rear window then

New dog? You'll be needing a FIAT 500L !!!

Part car, part limousine, part van!

So is this one of those 'I'm selling my car' threads that isn't in the classifieds and that DP will no doubt be reporting?

Maybe Steve hasn't read the new announcements

Or hes just being Steve

If you sell the Spider at least you'll still have the GT

Office Chair.

Unless you have somewhere to keep it, then sell it. Great looking car but not too practical.

I had wondered about the van when I first saw this poll so didn't vote or comment at the time but now I see it is going as well.

It's pretty clear you've already decided to sell as much on the grounds of unnecessary extravagance as anything else so you're not in love with it. The fact you're keeping the older GT just underlines that.

Given the struggle Ghosty is having selling his nice example you might consider PX along with he van for a more painless transition?
