Idea Do you talk to your car?

I can't take the credit for this idea because I heard this on the radio this morning.

My Mrs talks to her 145 all the time. Must confess I give my GTA the occaisional pat and thanks, usually after one of 'those' overtaking manouvers

She gets a pat/stroke on the steering wheel everytime she pins me to the seat during a foot-to-the-floor overtaking torque-fest manouver....

I do occasionally talk to my car but it does have the Connect Nav+ system so I can use that as an excuse!

Re: Do you talk to your car?

Yes, I am not well
Every morning I pass a "hello my babies" to the cars in the garage that I will not be using that day. Sometimes a "I still love you" in case they get jealous for not being used more often.
I do not want to cause descent in the ranks. the 147 gets used most often, so inevitably oit also gets spoilt (and spoken to ) most often.

The men with the white coats are knocking on my door, gotto go.........

Nothing wrong with a little tender loving care... I usually give her a pat above the instrument binaccle after a long drive... and she usually listens to my rantings when I'm caught in heavy traffic.

Re: Do you talk to your car?

Sometimes things need persuasion to do what you want them to. I am pretty sure my old 33 started after all this time because I asked it nicely.

Works with IT too, I can often be found muttering to servers. Quite embaressing when someone overhears you

Re: Do you talk to your car?

She talks to me when i press the button on the key - two beeps for 'hello' and one long sorrowful beep for 'goodbye', so its only right that i should reply
