Hmmm Toothbrushes out number Occupants?

I think that in most people's bathrooms there are more toothbrushes than there are occupants

So to test this theory, I have created this poll

Now be honest people

If the number of toothbrushes out number the number occupants in your home, would you care to explain... why?!?

... any other well reasoned comments are also welcome

Re: Toothbrushes out number Occupants?

Twice as many brushes as occupants

But then our main brushes are battery powered

Therefore we have a manual backup system

Re: Toothbrushes out number Occupants?

We have a toothbrush sharing scheme in our household.

I use it on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.

SM uses it on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.

On Sundays we share it ('cos we're a loving couple that way ).

That means we can get away with one toothbrush in the house.

<----- (see? nice clean teeth )

btw, we don't bother with toothpaste - why waste the money when you can use soap???

Re: Toothbrushes out number Occupants?

What's this recent obsession with our bathroom habits Kurzon?

How about...how many baths or showers do you take in a week/day....or how many times do you actually go to the toilet before you lay a few sheets down first......or how many people can you fit in your bathroom

btw...was going to vote "This is one of those stupid threads/polls and I'm not voting", but that would have been voting, so I haven't.

Snap this:

We live together, yet there are 4 brushes in here.

And to satisfy everybody's interest in my dental hygiene: 1 manually operated is mine, 2 electric and 1 manual are my girls

Re: Toothbrushes out number Occupants?

Interesting about the electric toothbrushes as I didn't think about that when I created this thread, even though I have one which I don't actually use anymore. It just sits there doing nothing, like an ornament It's the sonic type and was quite expensive a few years back Found the replacement heads for them to be quite pricey, but maybe if Stori has the appropriate heads I can source from him

@GC, you copied another response from another thread and changed it to suit this thread ... funny though Both

@Lynnb, not a weird poll really as I wanted to see if other people keep more toothbrushes in their bathrooms than there are occupants. I'll explain why - I have an extra manual toothbrush which was a bad purchase. It's simply too soft for me But I haven't thrown it away I only now use it if my gums feel sensative or if I have brushed my teeth more than three times in a day or summat... but I should get rid of it cos it looks stoopid, IMHO. My parents, leaving alone have somehow attracted 5 toothbrushes and next time I'm there I'll be quizzing about that

@Joost, why two electric toothbrushes with your Misses Please ask and share if it's not too strange a reason

Nope, one is always ready with a charged battery. So when one goes empty, she has a back-up
My toothbrush never seems to have that problem
