Idea Who's going to Gaydon on 11 September 2005

Hi.

Autoitalia are having one of their autumn car days but this time it's at Gaydon in Warwickshire. Entry fee is around 8, concessions are available. You can drive on the Aston test track at speeds of "up to 70 mph" in groups of 50 for 20. There will be 2 new 159's there for us to paw over.

Who's going?

Cheers,

As someone who used to work as Gaydon, I'll warn you that the 'test track' is not something to makes any special effort to drive on. It's a boomerang shape kinda like this http://www.multimap.com/map/photo.cg...g=&mapsize=big

Okay, it's 100% like that cos that's the Gaydon test track. Move the mouse over it to see a 'map' overlay which has the track layout more clearly definied. It's nothing special, only really any good for accumilating miles, high speed cruising and heavy braking tests.....no more interesting than a motorway really.

Having said that, I'll probably go along
