Hmmm Performance mods...

Have you made performance enhancing mods to any of your alfas (that you currently own)?

including mods that actually haven't made any difference in performance but which were done to the car in hope for more performance

Re: Performance mods...

Nothing done yet. Getting quite tempted though. Maybe suspension mods if I wasn't such a pauper, alloys and some sort of performance exhaust, not just an amplifying one.

Best mod ever to any car is to fit braided steel brake lines.

nah its fine, Chris Knott seem to be very easy going, as long as they have it in writing and on the records its ok

If I started boring the engine out etc (vulnerable enough as it is as standard) then they might start bumping the price.

Most of the stuff jsut makes it handle and stop better

The only real go faster bit is the decats and chip

If they are more streamlined or made of a lighter plastic then I would say yes!

Warning Re: Performance mods...

Have I done any mods?Hmmm let me see?Yep,just a few.

I dont think theres much more left to mod on the car
Full race spec turbocharged engine,custom wheels,GTA 4 pot calipers with 325 x 26mm floating discs,KW race spec coilovers,custom bodywork,stand alone engine management,fuel system,modified gearbox,2.5 inch straight thru exhaust system,

Latest mods are Race Logic traction control system(pics below)G-Reddy T05D hybrid turbo and the GTA calipers and custom discs and bells.

I have a roll cage for the car on order aswell.Hope to have it soon.
Looking at getting a 5 or 6 speed sequential box now. Then thats about it with the car.Sell and start my next project

Good one.
Did you melt a piston on one of them?I remember somebody who had supercharged one said something in the past about melting/destroying a piston.
