Re: Marmite.......

Marmite, spread on buttered wholemeal toast cut into soldiers and dipped into semi-runny boiled free range eggs.....beats the gastronomic sh*t out of any fancy French rubbish....

Re: Marmite.......

...although strictly speaking of course, the 'marmite' (pron. mar-meet) is a French pot-type-thing, as seen on the front of the jar.....can't imagine the stuff inside is a French invention though, probably just the perverted invention of some brewery worker who pondered on how to get rid of all the thick gooey stuff they scrape up off the brewery floor....

I used to eat peanut butter, banana & marmite sandwiches, toasted.

if that makes you all queasy.......... serves you right for going on about the cottage cheese

and I blame ALL of you for the fact that I will be late starting work this morning...... gonna have lightly boiled egg with marmite toastie soldiers.
right now, well in exactly 4 minutes
LOVE MARMITE
