Your relationship with GT...

So... the GT has been out for quite a while now... but how well have you gotten to know her?

Re: Your relationship with GT...

And almost killed in the same car, as my cousins "big" feet prevented him from braking without reving the bee Jeezus out of the engine whilst negotiating a corner near Lincoln. Not much fun as approach a tight 90 degree corner at 80 mph

Tight, uncomfortable seats and close-spaced pedals are two problems with the GT ....apart from all the other that variuos people seem to find from time to time

NB My cousin was so impressed with the GT ,that he went and bought a Jaguar instead

Of course in Italy there are many (but not so) GT;

Usually young people like and own her.

I like a lot but not so much to love (and buy) her.

That's because you have a 166.

Yes, but my previous car was a red Fiat Coupè 16v turbo.
I was (and I am) very fall in love with her.
I like such type of car and i like also GT but I think the coupe was more beautiful.

Maybe I will again fall in love with the new BRERA.

To clear the sittuation...

The options do not mean litterally "driven one" etc...

Means that you've done it ATLEAST one time ATLEAST with one GT

Re: Your relationship with GT...

I've driven the JTS and the JTD on the launch weekend - and preferred the JTD. Loved the car and, unlike Stori, thought the seats were superb. It's too "enclosed" in the back for a family car though, so I got the 156 instead.

Re: Your relationship with GT...

Have had one to drive for a weekend. I must say that I would buy one a.s.a.p. had she not the same dashboard with my 147 .
The interior looks just the same and after driving for a couple of minutes you forget that you are in a GT (until you press your foot down that is ).

Re: Your relationship with GT...

I think the dash on the 147 is very attractive - the fact that it is the same as in the GT one of the reasons I bought one

Re: Your relationship with GT...

Sat in one a couple of weeks ago. Was tempted to ask for a test drive but it was in a car showroom. Didn't want to hassle them to get it out just so I could have a maggot act in a GT. Maybe one day.

Re: Your relationship with GT...

Bought the V6 in November last year and have put 14,000 miles on it - apart from breaking my second undertray, wearing front tyres down to the minimum wear bar and having to replace a front wheel after digging for Australia in a pot hole in the Borders of Scotland its been a breeze. Packed 2 kids plus my partner and all the xmas pressies into it for a 2 hour journey thru snow at New Year and have moved office with desks and files twice now as well - but its that V6 and the 6 speed gear box that leave a smile every time I drive it.
