Re: Alfenia's Mud Flaps are?

They're fine. A bit flashy, but that's not that big a deal. Mudflaps are one of those function over form accessories. Don't let anybody tell you differently. It has become trendy not to have them, so everybody slavishly says "oh, they're never any good." Fashion lemmings.

Re: Alfenia's Mud Flaps are?

I voted 'other' as I don't think they suit the shape of the 156.
But if you're happy who cares?

Argh, my eyes

No really, I can see why people go for front mudflaps as a way to protect the flanks, but rear ones: oh gawd. Take them of asap, you're hurting her. Pretty please with a cherry on top.

Re: Alfenia's Mud Flaps are?

So its only the rear one's that have y'all in a flap......actually one of them is 1/2 falling off as it get caught in kerbs when reversing.

Fronts can stay them?

Re: Alfenia's Mud Flaps are?

Well as mudflaps do not look good on any car, then even an Alfa has trouble "pulling-it-off" so to speak

However front mudflaps are more useful on a FWD car than rear mudflaps.

And ones with out any sort of writing look better IMHO if you actually need to use them. This is paartly because without any writing on the mudflap, the mudflap is harder to see

Looking at pictures of your car in another thread ,where you appear to have violated her by "forced bathing" , the mudflaps do not appear to be that bad

Re: Alfenia's Mud Flaps are?

i voted other cos i think they are not good...infact i would go as far as saying they are really crap

will try to say what i really mean in future and not hold back my true thoughts

but joking aside, i dont think they suit alfa's, or any car come to think of it

I had to vote "other" as well.

If I had to have some underside protection I would have the smaller stone guards and try some of that clear plastic film stuff. (Is it from 3M? - seen a tread about it some time back.) Mud flaps do fall off and then it looks even worse (IMO) with only three.

I say keep them, just to be different.
But I think they would look better on an older Alfa so I still voted other.

Thats just what i did today...well a kerb took one off when i was reversing Alfenia & I took the other off. They were a tad low

Now that they are off, the rear does look better
