I'm a bit frikened.
Firstly, I don't own an Alfa no more and might get bullied by the bigger buys in whichever chosen motor I use to turn up in.
Secondly, it's a big step to turn virtual socializing into real life stuff and I've made that mistake before and regretted it.
Thirdly, my free time can be measured in picoseconds and I'm worried I will make lots of commitments and then fail to turn up.
Fourthly, the people I seem to have most in common with on AO online (and therefore the ones I'd like to meet IRL) aren't in my area.
Fifthly, I did turn up to a meet of another marques meet a few years ago and hated every single second of it. Dull people in cardigans talking about stuff I had no access to.
I may just hold off until one of the bigger shows where people attend nationwide and park in the visitors car park before wandering over to find the Alfas. At that point I'd probably then lurk around trying to spot people and match them to the virtual identities before calling it a day and skulking off.
Perhaps you could help me by wearing T-Shirts with your online ID's on?
