No country for old men, as I nominated it. Decent pace, atmospheric, full of tension and suspense, really weird cool bad guy.

Of the others, Seven Pyschopaths isn't a bad film but I don't think it's McDonagh's best work.

Again - never seen any of them.

Put up Group 4 and include "Blade Runner" and I will be your man,

Axe Murderer is a great film. I love Mike Myers but Wayne's World was too "6th form" and the Austin Powers films should have all just been 20 minute sketches not 2 hour films.

However - In Axe Murderer he is magnificent both as the lead role and as his Scottish Father. Genuinely funny film. Watch it if you haven't seen it. Sound track is great too. "There She Goes" by the La's and a couple of tracks by the Spin Doctors too.

But they only did 1 song! Two princes, and Little Miss Can't Be wrong (which was the same song).

OK - I am open to recommendations - Axe Murderer is now on my list.

I have never been a fan of M Myers - too "look at me I am whacky and zany" for me - it translates as "I am totally boring and dull but I dress up, shout and gesticulate a lot in the hope you think I have something".

There's not a bad track on Shinbone Alley.

So now there's two recommendations for the price of 1! A film AND an album to listen to.

You're welcome.

I have to say I think Blade Runner is a glaring omission in the nominations.
In my opinion far superior to Star Wars and all the other Sci-fi films that got in.
In retrospect I wish I'd nominated it instead of Brazil

Office Chair.

I can't vote because if I have watched any of these films I've forgotten about it.

I wonder how many who voted for the winner had actually seen Taxi Driver (which obviously should have won )
