Even though the Aston took its rear end styling cues from a MFI wardrobe it wins it for me here.

Gorgeous curving lines of the Alfa do it for me here.

The Coach built style doesn't do all that much for me. The Aston style does a LOT.

Aston.

Can't really separate them so I've gone with the one I'd want to own.

Aston. If I owned the Alfa, I wouldn't know what to do with it whereas I'd give the DB4 a right caning at every opportunity.

I thought this was about the best looking car?

Ah, ok couldn't separate them on looks so other factors decided - fair enough!

At the start I reckoned the Aston to be in the final. I love it. I do. But the lines of the 8C just melt me. Do I care that it's so rare that I'd never get to touch one or that I'm too northern to be allowed to drive one? No because that isn't the WCOC premise. It's stunning. You could cane the Aston and enjoy it. You could do the Mille Miglia in the 8C.

More importantly you could put it on a plinth and bring joy to millions who look at it.

Not impressed with how this one is going.
Of course, I love both cars. No question.
But in terms of beauty, the Alfa is (in my option, perhaps not of the majority) by far the most beautiful.

Whilst I like the idea, I wouldn't. I would probably spend time admiring it. I'm not convinced the drive will be as good as you expect.
