I love everything about the Aston from the air intake on the bonnet, to the chunky wires, to the dinky little fins. The Toyota's profile is stunning but the weird trout pout costs it here.

The Toyota is very nice in an E-Type wannabe style, but the lack of originality and the weird front bring it down.
The Aston is just stunning.

I've gone Toyota. The Aston is all fine and dandy until my eye reaches the slab sided arse on it. If the boot had followed the roof line more it would be a different story.

A lot of these are quite a bit closer than I expected they would be.

Might I suggest this alternative variant of the DB4....

If Flowing Roofline Into Boot/Tail Is Your Thing.

Nope, same beast, different dress. The Zagato styled DB4, I may have mentioned earlier that I didn't include it in order for the competition to be fair, keeping with the more numerous Touring styled version, typical of the DB line.

Good job it is the world cup.

I never voted but the Brit did not need me.
These two are not in the same league. The Toyotat is OK but not Aston Martin level any day, any time. No Toyota has been or ever will be.

Every manufacturer makes the odd mistake. Lagonda must have been AM's only one. I will give you that because when the Lagonda came out I just laughed.

However my opinion was a general one.

Even if you're standing next to one, it's hard to comprehend how low down they are at the front....and there's a 5.3 V8 under the bonnet.

The Lagonda actually looks a lot better in the flesh. And you have to recognise the era it was released in.

It's still not really a looker though, I have to admit. I feel like I'd quite like one anyway though.
