I thought we'd already established there is a pretty large left leaning majority on this site - at least it feels that way in the politics threads

Why can't I vote for the English Defence League?

Are there no candidates?

The fact that you spelt "candidate" without either a "y" or a "k" suggests that you are not their type

The first time in years that I can't decide. Damned if you do and if you don't. Not sure if there's anybody worth voting for.

I might skew the result with an illegal vote.

Everyone's at it, according to the liar-in-chief.

Do UK citizens, resident in Ireland for more than 15 years, have the right to vote in UK
general elections?

I only ask because Irish citizens resident in the UK can have a vote, if they like ...

I have the right to vote here (except in referendums). I don't know whether I'm allowed to still vote in the UK elections by nominating a constituency - I've been away a lot longer than 15 years. In any case I don't think it would be fair for me to do so seeing as I no longer live there and I'm not much affected by national politics so I haven't looked into it. The Brexit vote on the other hand does affect me and I would have liked a voice.

Posted what I'll be voting, although I disagree with most of their policies, and consider their leader an ineffectual prat. However my constituency is a two-horse race, and the other party's leader and their policies are even less credible........

Throughout my years of being a voter, I have voted Conservative and Liberal.
Never, ever thought of voting for the loony left.
However, that is exactly what I shall be doing in this forthcoming election.
I find myself agreeing with Mr Corbyn more than anyone else. Too many issues to name here. But more in line with him than anyone else. (May is the devil in a bad, ill fitting disguise)

I know this is a very tiny response to a survey, but it really does say lots. (although there's still 8 days to go)

Any chance, as an exception, you can post this on the general chat page, rather than the poll room?

With 163,776 members and 15 voters you are looking at a turnout even lower than our allotment committe.
