WCOC Group 13

Right then.

Some Zagato weirdness, some Bugatti eccentricity, the Japanese giving us a taste of the future, and the Americans showing that they could do style instead of flash.

Easy for me, though I suspect I may the Impala's only fan. I have a massive thing for 60s Chevy 2-doors and this one is my favourite. They left the glitz of the 50s behind and went with a bit more subtlety.

Of the others, the Alfa is funny looking like it's bits of different designs fused together, The Bugatti is just odd like it's part aeroplane, part farm machinery, and the Toyota has too much going on at the front (though the overall shape is great and i like it a lot).

The train :(

To be honest, I really don't know, as I find them all horrible and want to vote for the least ugly one.

Another vote for the Impala. Nice one!

Sorry KB. But I find the Impala quite appealing as well.

There are only two cars in this, surely?

The Impala has a certain style but you're stretching things to call it beautiful.

The Toyota wins the group with ease.

The Alfa is a bit too cutesy and round, not a fan.

The Bugatti is a bit much but I do like that style era with the big sweeping wheel arches but it doesn't sit well as a whole for me.

I very much like 50's & 60's Americana but in that era there are much better looking cars

The 200GT has it for me. Not the best in the competition but the best looking of the 4 here for me

Having nominated it, I seem to be alone in favouring the Alfa over the competition in this group.
To me it's a beautiful thing.
No accounting for taste.

I'll be very surprised if it doesn't overhaul my Impala before the poll closes.

Toyota.

It's possibly a bit fussy at the front, but is perfectly balanced in general.

I like it a lot.

Yep, I felt the same. Whatever comes up against the winner of this group more or less gets a bye.

Having slept on such a monumentous decision, I went for the American one.

Bugatti

Alfa looks silly and comical. Toyota, while not bad, looks like a poor copy of a 365 GTB4 and the Chevrolet, well. That looks ridiculous

So the '67 Toyota looks like a copy of the '68 Fezza?

You are Emmett Lathrop "Doc" Brown, Ph.D and I claim my £5

I'll give you that one

Maybe there's a hint of 250GTO about it. Again, poorly executed

Damned clever those Japanese, looking into the future, seeing the Dayton, copying it, and getting theirs out there first.

Office Chair.

Toyota for me just because I like how it looks. Alfa looks a bit cartoon like.
