I really struggled with this one.

The Miura is sexy in a way that no other car can manage. The BMW is slick and cool and looks slightly mean. The Fulvia, like the P1800 and Bertie, is full of nice little details. The Merc is a big handsome brute of a thing.

I'll dismiss the Merc first because I prefer the slim pillars and delicacy of the other cars. Next to go is the Fulvia because I prefer the other two (narrowly. If I revisited this tomorrow I'd change my mind). I'll put the BMW over the Miura purely because I'm more of a GT car man that a supercar man.

Auto Express - six issues for a quid. Offer must end soon (and then immediately start up again).

Four stunning cars, any of which I'd be proud to own.
Lambo for me though.
This photo gives a fuller picture than the head-on shot above:

Merc is an easy one to reject.

Then its the same analysis as Keithyboy.

I'd fit in the BMW.

The Lamborghini is stunning.
The Beemer just pips it though for me.

Is this not a vote for the best looking car then?
practicality shouldn't come into it, should it?

Yeah, but he's never been able to get close enough to the interior on a Miura to tell whether it's good looking in there.

SLS for me. The Lancia looks like a boat. The BMW looks like a boat with rectangular nostrils. I've never thought the Miura as pretty and I like the retro-modern SLS

Plus it has gullwing doors.

You haven't got a clue about cars and shouldn't be allowed to vote anymore.

The train :(

I whittlled it down to the BMW and the Lancia but it really was a hard decision to make and I plumped for the BMW in the end.

Tough group.

Merc is easiest to let go.
Fulvia next even if it feels like kicking a puppy. Not proud of myself.
CSLs are right up there in my all time fantasy garage but it's up against a box office superstar in the Miura.
It's a stunner even if I don't especially want one and has to be the winner.

I have just voted, without reading any of the thread first.

The vote seems somewhat at odds with the posts (apart from those splendid chaps chrishendrix and 73GTVJim) which reminds me of that old phrase 'empty vessels make the most noise'.

Confucius once very wisely said "He who says empty vessels make the most noise has never chucked a biscuit tin full of nuts and bolts down a concrete staircase."
