Do you deliberately park next to alfas?

Just been out with my folks and met up with them at bluewater for a meal, late on a Sunday there are loads of spaces free. But driving in I saw another 156, so I parked next to that.

Any other people do that, or is it just me?

Re: Do you deliberately park next to alfas?

If it's busy then I'll park wherever I can, if it's really quiet then I'll park at least 1 space away from another car. (Or if with the little 'un then i'll park in a parent and child space - if there's any available after all the fat, lazy childless people have stolen them )

If there happens to be an Alfa next to a space that I'm aiming for then it's coincidence, although I do feel a bit odd about parking there, don't want to look too much like a geek, even if I am one

Re: Do you deliberately park next to alfas?

I'll go out of my way and park in an awkward space if it means I can be next to another Alfa, yes

I did this with my Punto and my Saxo too though, always nice to park next to a car twin

Re: Do you deliberately park next to alfas?

When I had my 156 I always made the effort to park next to a fellow Alfa if there was one around in the parking lot. With the 156 being one of the most common Alfa's I probably did it around 3 or 4 times in total during the 3 month period I had the car.

Now I just need to find another one,

Re: Do you deliberately park next to alfas?

Yep, so long as there's not an MPV or 4x4 on the other side (MPVs & 4x4s usually=kids, and kids in car parks = dinged doors)

Yup, whenever possible. Parked next to a 159 SW today (oh wait. That was Fraser's drive ).

Re: Do you deliberately park next to alfas?

Nope, because it's generally very tough to find them here and parking lots tend to be quite small in town (there are a lot of mini parkings though, actually a very clever idea for congested urban sprawls like Tokyo).

156 SW GTA

Re: Do you deliberately park next to alfas?

I voted other because there hasn't been any opportunities yet. But given the chance, of course I will!

I did encounter another 156 SW GTA on the road in Oslo (what are the chances of that!?) and eventually parked near it and had a nice chat with the owners. It turned out that they had an old Spider and an RZ too... at least there was a potential for some nice Alfa parking there

I used to, but now I park close to, but not next too, other Alfa's as the GTV is wide and has long doors

Re: Do you deliberately park next to alfas?

I try not to park next to anyone as I don't want my doors bashed.. Though I would rather park next to an Alfa than anything else if I had to.

No, can never find one.Usually park in an end spot and right against the kerb so i can open my door enough to get in and out.
