LOCATION : Dundee Museum of Transport, Market Mews, Market Street, Dundee, DD1 3LA

DATE : Sunday, 24th April 2016

TIME : 10.30 to 16.30

After a total refurbishment of their current premises in 2014, Dundee Museum of transport are running their second annual Open Day and Run It Day and are looking for enthusiasts of all forms of transport, new and old, to come along and support them on the day to attract as many visitors as possible.

Every paying visitor through the doors helps them get a tiny step closer to their ultimate goal of moving to their dream location, the old tram depot in Maryfield, which is on the Buildings At Risk Register and so will require substantial funding for refurbishment.

Entry for display exhibitors at the Open Day is FREE so that's one less excuse for not going along and helping this worthwhile cause. If you can attend, please RSVP below and I'll get back to you in due course for the details I need to complete the 'Club Entry' form.

IMPORTANT

If anybody is still undecided as to whether or not they are attending, I need to know by this weekend if you are going so I can let the organisers know who to expect in what car.

Please PM me details of your car (model, year, reg no) so I can add them to the club entry form which I will be submitting on Saturday 9th April. If you leave your decision to attend until after that, you'll need to contact the museum direct to make an individual entry and ask if you can be allocated space alongside the AO/AB entries.

Thanks
David

Would love to go if the GT is back on 4 wheels by then but it is too early to know.

No such luck I'm afraid RomeoRaiderz. The GT is still in bits and Although I am on track to finish on Saturday, I don't want to take it on a 140 mile round trip as a test run, I also have a mountain of jobs to catch up on around the house too now :(
