Why didn't we think of that? Building a wall to keep the Welsh out.

I may be tempted by this if I'm not in Portugal for the CL final.

I am pleased to confirm that Western will again be supporting Scottish Italian Car Day and will be at Cairnie on Sunday 25 May.

Also coming are AROC Club Manager, Nick Wright, with a selection of items from the current AROC shop range, Italian Miniatures, P.K. Supercars, R A Plates & Signs, Engine Coffee Tables and Fife Volunteers' Social Group (fund raising for charity).

As a focal point there'll be a central Piazza area with club gazebos, the traders and Western.

It's shaping up to be a great day !

Is there an Alfa Owners club stand, or are we merely public visitors?

Anyone in an Italian car is part of the display regardless of club allegiance. The past couple of years the cars have been organised purely by marque at Hill of Tarvit. Before that at Craigtoun Park the Alfas were grouped by club. I don't know the plan for the new venue but I think it will be the former. The two guys who could answer your question might take a few days to answer as they will be away this weekend for the AROC 50th thingy.

If you get there early enough your car will be wanted for the special GT display.
