Cloaked 33?

I wonder if any of you can identify this mysterious vehicle? The photo was taken by my son at Cannich, near Inverness. He didn't poke around too much, but I reckon it's a 33. Definitely Alfa wheels, and definitely of the variety fitted to 33's. Quite a heavy cloak around the car, so what type of a rear end it has, I'm not sure. He says he'll go and have a wee poke if I ask nicely!

We used to have one (a 1.5 Cloverleaf) a few years ago prior to moving up through the range to the current GTV, and a great wee car it was too. Rust eventually claimed it, but mechanically it was a shining star.

Thoughts?RG Alfa.jpg

(Hopefully the photo has attached ok!)

.

I'd agree it's a 33 Sportwagon - you can make out the C pillar under the cover and that looks right. The wheels look right as well.

Thanks - that's exactly where I was going myself! I've a close up of the wheels , and they're bang on. Allowing for a bit of misinformation here and there, "How many left" says 1 road registered, and 4 SORN'd. Not exactly jostling for space with each other!

I'll see if Ruaraidh can get wee poke around next time he's up there.

With those wheels it will be a series 1 sportwagon, which I think means it will be 4x4.
