Sunday 2nd June Run

OK, I know its short notice but weather is looking good, first son is looking forward to using “dynamic” on his new Mito Cloverleaf and it looks like a rare opportunity to get the Spider’s hood down - so we have decided to have a run over to Memus for lunch at the Drovers on Sunday! (The Drovers Inn Restaurant, by Forfar, Angus) (lot of looking there!).

Plan is to book a table for 1 ish so we will leave Auchenblae around 1145 in two Alfas. After lunch we’ll go for a run up Glen Clova. If anyone else fancies coming along please PM me – I’ll be booking the table late morning Saturday 1st June.

It's been mentioned at management levels Mike, I'll let you know tomorrow what the steering committee responds with.

Put me down for two, though only one may arrive depending on wine consumption tonight!

That's My Boy!

The Mito that is...

Thanks for the pics Andy. Himself has been trying to upload a few but system on slow down.

Lovely run (The Angus Glens, especially Glen Clova, are so beautiful), great lunch, small but perfectly formed group of last minute retrogrades to join a family day out.

We too are definitely up for some more day runs or odd weekends. And some breakfast runs too soon.

Food at The Drovers was fantastic. Perhaps another time we might try the Glen Clova Hotel with an optional stroll/short walk weather permitting.

What a great day! Brilliant run up Glen Clova in the sunshine followed by an excellent meal at the Drovers. It’s what Spiders (and a Mito Cloverleaf) were made for!

Thanks to everyone who came along and sorry that the short notice meant that some had to miss out.

Weather was certainly fantastic for a Spiders day out (MiTo Cloverleaf as well obviously!)

The Clova Hotel is fantastic, been a while since I've been though. It's a very nice walk up to Loch Brandy from there. I'm sure we'd be well up for that at some point in the future.

Lovely day, glad I made it.
Great to get the top down two weekends on the trot!

North to Banff and Pennan last weekend, South to Auchinblae and Glen Clova on Sunday.

I feel a westerly trip up Deeside coming on....perhaps with bacon and black pud

Sounds like a nice meet. I would be up for another if you are planning any more. Need to get my alternator changed first though, The GTV is sounding rough and i think the bearing is on the verge of seizing.

We'll plan some more, don't worry.
Keep you're eyes peeled.
