Anyone recognise this car?

Started looking at 159's and this seems a decent car. Just wondering if anyone knows it?
Used Alfa Romeo 159 Saloon 1.9 Jtdm 16v Lusso 4dr in Edinburgh, Midlothian | Alba Motor Company

Don't know it, but it looks pretty good! Did it say whether the cambelt had been done?

They are doing it along with a full service before the car is sold.

Looks good. Are they a proper alfa/fiat dealer? If not, I would maybe ask for money off and get the belt changed yourself. I bought my last alfa from a volvo dealer, they agreed to do cambelt and all other belts but didn't have correct timing tools and used tipex instead! They were a very reputable company but didn't realise the job involved and it cost them £ 1000 to put right!

Good point, there is a specialist near by that I could ask them to use for it. Is it Strombeli? Looks a bit darker.

Hi coullstar, yes it is Stromboli Grey, it's the same as my previous 159 was, although I had the 2.4 with a tan leather interior. Looks very clean and the mileage is relatively low. The only thing I would watch for the EGR valve function - they can be temperamental, manifesting in a lumpy idle and unpredictable coughs and power losses.
I loved mine, and I love the one I have now - do it!!

Cheers, my head says its a nice car but I can just help look at Ti's & 2.4's. It will be an everday commuting car for me so I should be sensible for a change.

Deal has been done on a 159, not this one though. Pushed the boat out and should be getting a 1.9 JTDM Ti saloon in this colour. Should get it on Sunday, luckily it was a trade in at a BMW dealer so they gave me a decent price on trade in for my 130i.
