The Bucket List

I've put this on my Bucket List!

PH Viking Tour | Petrolhead Nirvana

In fact, pretty much any of the Petrolheadnirvana tours would do. Maybe need to persuade the Lovely Louise that this would be the perfect holiday for us

Well, we honeymooned in Norway - so anything is possible!

We toured it for three weeks in a 1972 Triumph Toledo (tent slung in the back in case we couldn't find a hotel or cabin on route) which had previously taken us to the middle of Finland for a two week holiday with a load of other Triumph enthusiasts

If you need help convincing the Lovely Louise, you know who to call

Sorry, Graham - I was brought up with being dragged around the country on car related activities, so heading to Norway or Finland for a car do is normal for me. Lucky Grant, eh?

The scenery is fabulous though and the people are SO nice Food is very fishy though

Looks brilliant but can't help thinking that you could do very similar for a lot less money on an independent basis.

I thought that too

Although with a round of drinks costing £15 and a six pack of beer costing £20 12 years ago, an all in package might be the way to go

I've driven in rural Norway Graham.
You need to do everything you can to persuade Louise that you MUST go on this holiday, whatever it takes.
Don't drink much when you get there because beer is dearer than diesel, but the roads are sublime. Couple that with the views round every bend and it is the dogs danglies.
Start begging mate!

The Noggies you met must be different from the ones I have worked with

And the last time I was in Norway it was over £9 for a pint

Leave "The Burd" at home!! She'd only give you earache for driving too fast. I'll come along instead...

Add this one to the bucket list as well then...

Tianmen Mountain pass

Search it on Google Earth and turn on the 3D landscapes. Quite amazing, will probably remain on the Bucket List though, as its location in the darkest depths of China's interior mean it may as well be on Mars.
