GTA run

I plan taking the GTA out tomorrow for a run, going to play golf at Huntly. The A97 between Alford and Huntly has always been a favourite of mine.

Should be fun from the start with a (hopefully clear) run over the Cairn o' Mount.

The sun is even threatening to be on show so I might stop and take some pictures.

Well it wasn't a clear run up the Cairn. Turned the corner after the Clatterin Brig and there was an HGV with 3 cars behind it making its way up. Half way up we then hit fog.
I didn't stop for pictures.
The HGV pulled over once we were well down the other side to let us pass.

Banchory to Alford was great, clear roads and the GTA pulling hard. I tried to get a picture with the pink castle in the back ground but the drive was blocked so couldn't get the shot.
Alford to Huntly was enjoyable, the little traffic was taken care of easily when opportunity arose.
Coming back was even better as there was less on the road and the route was fresh in the memory from the morning.

It really is a great car.

I would touch wood Alex, without these its only a stone between needing a headlamp or a laugh at scratch on a rediculous cover thats protecting it

Headlamp covers are coming more fashionable these days aswell, you guys are just getting to old and out with the times
