We've been kicking the idea of a last run of the year about. Yesterday I had the opportunity to head down to Perth and then up to Braemar via the Glenshee road.

It was empty...not a soul on it..as you can see

Anyway i gots to thinking...this would be a cracker for the last run. Meet up in Perth, then head up the A93, coffee, loo, fag break at Glenshee and then on to Braemar for a spot of lunch at the Fife Arms then back towards Aberdeen with a turn off over the Cairn o Mount for those who live southwards.

I'm thinking Sunday Decmber 5th with a 10.30am meet up...

Of course this is largely weather dependant but nothing ventured....nothing gained....

Who's up for it?

Well if it stays like this a run to the end of the drive may be asking a bit much....

It's not looking great for the 5th folks.

I dont think the roads are going to be fit any time this week for us. So unless the sun blazes down and wipes out all the snow I guess we ought to put this one off til next year.

Never mind...

I agree - looks like the snow is here to stay for a wee while yet

Shame, as it would have been nice to have a last run of the year

Sorry folks but this definitely looks like a no goer for this weekend - the rate the white stuff is falling we will be lucky if it's cleared by January

Keep your eye open for news of a rescheduled date in the New Year

hmmm that means blaming Stu as he was the one who suggested it - and as we really do want him to organise the next one - I think we should hold off blaming him

how about blaming the weather reporters on the telly instead
