Need help from GTV owner...

Last week i manage to buy gtv 2.0 t.spark on the cheap with intention of restoring it and selling it to my friend who really wants one. The thing is the car feels slow to me, although it runs smooth and idles fine, i think there is something wrong with it. Before i go to cp garage in dundee to get it checked i would love to ensure myself. Im asking a fellow members for help. If any owner of gtv with t.spark engine would like to test drive my car, or even give me a lift in his one just to test the acceleration. I would really appreciate it. In return i can offer checking your car acceleration times with well known g-tech kit - (0-60mph, 1/4 and bhp and the wheels).
Most times and days are fine with me, i would just need probably 10-20 minutes of your time.

I will try that, but it runs too smooth for it to be MAF issue.

Clean the plugs? & check the intake hoses for splits or cracks, actually take them of and examine closely under good light.

Check the cat has not collapsed. can give the car a lot more throttle response once done , me, I haven,t noticed it, have two gtv,s here at the moment and they are both different.
I expect you will have gone to Euan at Dundee by now , but he should help you out.

If you have Alfadiag or can get someone that does, some say resetting the ECU on it

GTV V6

Hi Mate, know it's been up for a while but I just came across your thread. Did you manage to get a run out in a GTV? I've got a TS and I'm in Aberdeen if you are still looking a run out?

What was the problem with the engine?
Is it a CF1 engine?
