146ti for sale
I'm not too sure who reads which threads here, but hey......The £400 146 in NW Scotland is mine. I thought I'd just explain that the release bearing is away on it .....and so, the clutch no longer releases! But that's all - aside from that the car is in great condition inside and out. It's most recent trip was a 40 mile round trip just last week and it's running fine. In theory, it could be driven away, but if you went into traffic then you'd be deeply embarassed! Pity nobody has come forward to date, but I suppose that's life. I guess my alternative is repairing the clutch at a garage (my clutch repairing years are probably behind me now!) and keeping the car. But if you can do a clutch yourself, it'll be a bargain.
"Dinomito" was telling me that he's arranging a trip here in a few months time - I can absolutely guarantee that you won't go on better roads for a decent few days out. The area here has it all - scenery, a wide mix of roads, and generally classic cars are a constant feature of Wester Ross all summer, so plenty of interest for all.
I should have a new (to us) Alfa by then myself (GTV 3.0), so can join you all for a while when you travel through Gairloch. Whether we also have a 146ti, who knows!
