We're off down towards Devon a bit more with a day trip to the Haynes Museum, http://www.haynesmotormuseum.com/home.php. looks to be a great day out with loads of fun for all ages, plenty to do for those bringing the family. We need 15 plus people to take advantage of the discount ticket prices.
Dave from Vospers will organise the Devon/Cornwall meet point, Tess will organise the Welshies, and John for any coming down from Gloucester way.
Yep, I remember that trip, one of the earlier excersions of the south west AO'ers.
Surely can't be that long ago as I was in the Gtv and I've only had it just over 4 years now.
Happy days.
I'm after a red one with black leather ( when I've finished paying Dave for my Julie of course) but never miss an opportunity to wind up a welshie!!!
Pardon me for thinking that the Haynes trip was today, just came past ( still a building site next door) on the A303, passed 2 Mitos, a red 55 GT, Giulietta, 147 GTA and a 156SW, 3 miles from the Museum and none of the beggars waved:tut:
Yes there is a small services there Costa/Burger King travelodge, fuel etc. just off the southbound side of the roundabout. Not sign posted on the M5 (never understood why not ?) Thanks for offering What time do you think you'll be there ? J
I've got to ask about this meet - is getting back from there the same as getting there but in reverse?
How easy would you say it is to find? :spanner: :spanner: :spanner: :spannergrey: :spannergrey:
straight down M6/M5, turn left and it's on your left hand side:cheese::cheese:
