Hi, best thing to do is take the measurements and one of the pistons to a local engine re-conditioning shop..(It really depends on what the engine problem was in the first place, mileage, oil change history, usage etc....) They will be able to advise best on what is available, depending on the condition of your parts of course..the precision of todays aftermarket parts is very good indeed and often nothing needs to be done other than meticulous rebuilding....
Good luck........
Not yet i was going to take the lot down to the guys grinding the crank and get them to check and order the right rings...
Im taking the advice about the conrod, and replacing it with one from the spare TS i have i'm hoping that once i get both the TS engines together i can use them to repair the JTS and make one good one out whats left...
Out of whats left of the TS engines i should be able to overahaul one engine a one spare complete head...
Bought and fitted the piston rings a standard 83mm set per cylinder were £16.50 plus vat, with a gap of 0.5mm very simple to fit...
