What can I say lads. Great day, unreal weather, brilliant roads. Spectacular scenery and the best of all great people with some cracking cars. I have to say thanks to everyone who made the effort to come along I know some of ye had some serious drives to and back to home also.

Cheers for letting me take the GTV V6 for a spin Volmars what a brilliant car the GTV is. Great brakes and steering. Looks much nicer inside than my car clearly by it's original price tag lol.

And thanks to mark for the spin in the 155 they have some mad long gears. Great sounding car I have say and the interior is nicer than my 146 lol.

Thanks to Gerry for bringing the classic Alfa and to be honest nicest sounding one.

And to Charlie for bringing that mint GTV seriously clean car.

And to Gav for collecting the food for the journey them treats were amazing.

Damien.

I only lost you Gav because you ripped past me at Gorey doing some serious speed:p
I think you kept the turbo boost for the trip home.

Was a good day, not as many as Kilkenny unfortunately but super weather and the road out of Carrick is a great one. I had my dream of driving an Alfetta V6 finally fulfilled so a big thanks to Gerry for bringing it along. Cheers also to Charlie for all the advice and resetting the ECU. Not sure if it made a difference but there was ample power for the journey home.
BTW Damien myself and Gav found a great road on the way home, N30, which goes from New Ross to Enniscorthy. Some very nice scenery, long stretches and good bends. Would you agree Gav? With a little less traffic would have been super.

Descent road alright, but you are always going to get stuck behind something and there isn't really many places to overtake. Much preferred the motorway stretch after staying at 60 the whole way I was about to go nuts until I got onto it. I did wait for you for a while but I think I might have been a bit more, shall we say, enthusiastic to get home!!

Great day out lads.
Company (GTV's (twinnies and V's), 146, 155, and 166) and weather were spot on.

Damien, cheers for the spin. Loved how easy it was to drive and how quickly one can feel comfortable driving it (like I drove it many times before). Sweet note from the exhaust to put the grin on your face :D
Gav, cheers for the cakes. Kept the belly filled up for the afternoon.
Gerry, apreciate the drive in a real GTV V6  .... back to the days when driving a sports car was a days work :cheese:

Drive home was scenic (New Ross to Borris), quite, straight and twistie. Perfect!

I have err.... 3 pic's but Gav has 2 of them already so...
