I have just sold the girlfriends Cinquecento on ebay for the grand sum of £265, yet the seller fees all in come to £25. Is that not a complete rip-off?
And to top it all the winning bidder hasn't made contact yet, so I have spent £25, and I still have the car.
This is the last time I ever use ebay for selling anything.
If the buyer doesn't complete you will, eventually, get a refund on the selling fee.
Have to agree that eBay is now pretty expensive but then again you get countrywide coverage, how does this compare with the likes of AutoTrader etc. ?
Anyway, hope that you get a result after all the hassle.
Autotrader is cheaper, I think its something like £10 if your car is under £1000 in value as the cinq is.
I will have to wait for 2 weeks to get my fees back, and in that time I really could have done with the car shifted as we need the space..
