On July 28th there will be a press launch of the Limited edition AutoDelta Brera J20 at the (Guoman) Tower Hotel London close to the Tower of London and Tower Bridge. The tour will commence on the morning of the 29th July leaving London via Tower Bridge through Greenwich to the A2 and on to Dover.

It would be really great if we could get a bit of an Alfisti gathering/convoy together to follow the tour down to Dover or wave them on their way? The tour should consist of a maximum of 35 vehicles of varying Italian exotica. There are details available at www.autodeltatour.com

I will post more details of this as I get them and will give it a 'bump' every now and again to keep you all interested. Seems like a great excuse for a meeting/get together. I hope we can get a good crowd down there to give it a decent send off.:)

Has anyone taken part in any of these tours from Autodelta?

Got some holiday time coming up and fancy a good drive to those posh places they are visiting.

Apparently they need a deposit of £500 and the rest of the money a month before they go.

So before I clock up another 2000 miles in the Brera, I like to know from anyone who's taken part what their experience was on previous tours.

I've just come back from another off-shore trip to find this Tour has been cancelled - what's the story re being cancelled because of "unprecendented demand at the factory"? Surelly the Tour was already organised and with enough people going on it by now. I wanted to go on it myself but it didn't fit in with my diving schedule otherwise they would have had my money already. Smells a bit fishy to me.

Got my money back, but still don't know the facts. I believe however that someone has 'left' the company? but I know nothing more. I've decide to do the trip on my own now but unfortunately won't get the same sort of access as the Autodelta one promised. I'll try and let you know how I get on.

Interestingly Ive booked 8 hotels most 3 and 4 star with ferry crossing for a grand total of £1000. Now I know that's not including fuel and tolls but I think all in it will come down to about £1600 which is considerably cheaper that the 7 nights on offer. I will post a full list of the hotels and route when i get back in case anyone wants to re-create the trip. For your info the route is Calais,Dijon,Avignon,Rapallo (via Monaco/Nice),Florence (via Pisa) " 2 nights,(visit to Maranello & Mantua, Verona (via Maranello & Mantua), Milan 2 nights, Lausanne,Rheims 2 nights and home.

Isn't the internet wonderful

Regarding this Tour, as i understood it before i went away (on the website) it was all organised and everything looked well planned. The hotels looked fantastic - are you staying in the same hotels as was listed on the site - if so you have got a bargin. Even if your assumption that someone has left the company it shouldn't detract from the Tour - the world don't stop becasue of one person.
Shame really if the timing had been better i know i would have been going i had aleady told them i couldn't but depending on the dates etc i might be interested in any future activities.
