Signed
Typical of this country, some wally/townie buy's a cottage in a Cotswald village and then moans about something that has been part of the area / community for decades, how about a pettition to have the nimby's ousted.

Re: Petition for Castle Coombe

Second thought's, if they did manage to close it what's the betting the land would be used for housing that no one local could afford and a "rustic" Tesco goes up as well.

Re: Petition for Castle Coombe

Living next to it I could understand people complaining about the track due to the track days and associated dangers they seem to bring like the muppets that visit for track days, there are some lovely tricky roads to drive on around there, I prefer them to the racetrack but you are forever seeing some hot hatch off the road upside down in the hedge or coming around the bend out of control head on towards you but to complain for noise the track has been there for years and before that it was an airfield I believe so it would never have been a quiet place to live, if you don't like it don't move there, simple.

Re: Petition for Castle Coombe

Signed, I live a few miles away from Castle Combe and it would be a real pity if it was to close because of some whining OAP's

Re: Petition for Castle Coombe

Worked around the corner from here in Yatton Kennel ! Go track day racing with a couple of old Golf GTi's my mate owns.

Be gutting if it closes, I'd miss the Mini day in September as well. Unless they move it to Pembrey, then I won't have to pay the bridge toll.
