Formula E -What a croc of *&%#

Jeez! i thought F1 had lost the plot but that afternoon i wasted today i will never get back. The I.T.V. ad breaks every three mins and a track on which it had three chicanes and that was all and i doubt you could get two cars side-by-side never mind overtake!?

What a croc, id sooner they had the British Kart Championship on national tv.

This should really be in the Rant Room

It was at Battersea right? Why would they use a venue which requires they make up a temporary track when the UK is full of excellent venues?

I reckon its because a genuine race track like Brands Hatch etc would show just how pants the Formula is?

They had one of the cars on the One Show last week, the presenters and the singer of the Disney Frozen song thingy had to pretend they could not hear it pull up alongside them.

Frigging clowns. I heard it before it was visible and I'm 200 miles away from the BBC studios.

I like the idea behind Formula E, I guess they’ll need a few years to get the “package” right :dunno:

The car manufacturers are very keen on it as Formula E have a system being developed that can charge batteries through kinetic energy which we know is the current downfall of electric cars....their range and charging time.

Dawg’s right, bring racing closer to people with more accessible prices too compared to F1.

I watched 5 minutes of it yesterday and caught 2 ad breaks, the track looked too narrow for an overtake and had a massive pothole in it and the cars looked so slow.

So does Formula 1, no?

And I'm reasonably sure that so do some hybrid road cars.

I reckon the F1 pace car is faster than the Formula E cars.

I find it desperatley dull to watch, and they sound like milk floats.
