Question for F1 fans

Do you support the marque or the driver?

I have always supported the driver, but it seems from various comments on the 2012 F1 thread that most support the marque?

I have been a fan of Williams, McLaren, Ferrari, and a number of others. I'm yet to be a Red Bull fan though.

Mercedes for me next season

So Muz you appear to contradict yourself there? In opening sentence you say you are a driver fan namely Spolit brat Pram-ilton and then you close by trying to hide behind the Mercedes wagon which incidently is going backwards now that the G.O.A.T. The Schumeister has given up on them and that prat Hamilton has taken the mercenary approach. Next year i'll be Kimi's No1 fan.

Lol, given up on? The Shuntmaster was shown the door because Brawn wanted a man who could take Mercedes forward not a dodgem driver

I am not going to argue with you about Lewis at the moment, I'll bide my time and bounce your derogatory threads next year..but I will just say, Hamilton errors this year - nil, but I've lost count of Schumacher's as they seem to number at least one a race.

Don't forget that incident in Spa where despite Grojean swerving all over the track Hamilton managed to run into him.......or so some would have you believe

Indeed, and the telemetry shows that he didn't lift either.

I tend to support a driver (or 2), but I do have a soft spot for one or two marques too, Williams for instance, whoever drives for them. (I yearn to support Ferrari but can't quite bring myself to because of their political approach, plus the overt numero uno e due driver status. And yes, I know, other teams do the same but not quite so overtly.)

So, to sum up I support drivers mostly (JB is my fave at the moment for various reasons), but do keep an eye on one or two teams as well.

I tend to support the Marque.

I suppose I most support Lotus, as years ago when they were Toleman and then Benetton they were based in my town.

They have sinced moved away and my most local team is now Caterham.

I always support one team. Ferrari. Even though i was a Schumacher fan obviously in his Ferrari days, he is still my all time favourite but i have never supported Mercedes.

I always support my favourite team because im a Ferrari man

Office Chair.

Ferrari, regardless of the driver.
I do like Webber, Button and Hamilton but as none yet drive for Ferrari I don't pay too much attention to them.

I'm definitely a Constructor fan.

Soft spot for Kimi as there doesn't seem to be anything political about him.
Always liked to follow Williams but they seem to want just pay drivers now so a bit disapointed in that.
2013 will be following Button, Kimi and Alonso i think, anybody but showbiz Hamilton and his entourage he makes me want to
