Wave Which is your favourite F1 track?

Id like to see some of your opinions and why you like a specific track.

Personally i like:
Spa - because its a very exciting track with fast corners
Monaco - beacuse its a dream for everyone
Suzuka - fantastic circuit with some exciting corners
Monza - because its a ferrari track with all the fanatic tifosis

But if i was to choose only one it would probably be monaco or spa. Im not sure which one though.

Which F1 track is your favourite?

Of the current tracks :

Spa : Fast corners and technical bits, too!

Monaco : Like riding a motorbike round your living room!

Montreal :Long straights and heavy breaking areas usually mean overtaking opportunities!

Silverstone :Great atmosphere(not as good as monza, probably!) and good fast corners

I think my all time favourite is Adelaide, cos I loved racing round it on 'Formula 1 95 on the original Playstation!!!!

Don't like Monaco as a spectator, very boring to watch, no overtaking opportunities!

I liked the old Silverstone. The new one i dont like it that much

The one that i really enjoy racing on my pc with my Logitech G25 is the old track at nurburgring. The nordschleife. What a track to race on!

Spa
Monza
Suzuka
Singapore
Silverstone

I hate Monaco as it almost always produces a processional race. Singapore has most of the Monaco glamour but the track is better and more modern.

This has been the best start to a F1 season ever, the only race I was bored watching was Monaco! Wouldn't be bothered if it never was raced again to be honest. May have been a bit more exciting if it rained!

My favourites are
Silverstone-great circuit and British too !
Monaco-yes the racing is usually boring but its the best track to see them driving f1 cars around
Canada-always gives an exciting race.
As a spectator though spa has to be my favourite, it has a bit of everything, unpredictable weather, overtaking and a great mix of corners

Monaco does not always produce a procession, when Olivier Panis won in '96 in a ligier,he overtook, think the weather helped! That's the only time I can think of tho . . . .

I agree that the old Silverstone was better, but the new one is growing on me!(not literally!)

Nordschleiffe,now there is a proper track.Only tried it on the Xbox 360(Forza motorsport) so far,but one day . . . .

Spa gets my vote, went to the F1 race a few years back. One of the original tracks and except for maybe the 'corkscrew' eau rouge is the most famous set of corners in the world.

Have to also give a shout for Assen, yes I know it's not an F1 track but wow go there for a MotoGP race weekend and see some crazzzy dutch going mad in terms of atmosphere its pretty much unbeatable.

I like the fact that Spa is one of the original tracks. Hope they dont change that too like they did with some other tracks... Which made them WORSE! They were thinking of shortening the track but they seem like they abandoned the plans. But you never know if they are going to come back in the future and do it
I like Spa because the track is quite long and apart from the fast corners at some places it rains and other places doesnt and it makes the race more exciting

Hockenheim was always pretty good, long straights for slipstreaming...

Until they go Herman Tilke to shorten it.

Monza... it's definitely the most picturesque, and it's an old-school track with the retro styley narrow straights and epic corners (bar the odd bit of modern ponciness in case the boys hurt themselves.. ).

Plus when I binned my metaphorical F1 car into the barrier at Ascari, I can clamber up the banking to watch the rest of the race.

I quite like Brands Hatch, but haven't been there for years so no idea if it's changed much or at all.

Used to love that circuit aswell, similar to monza but longer.
They spoilt the first chicane at monza, its far too tight now.
Another one that I don't think has been mentioned yet is interlagos, often gives a good race

Just felt it worth a mention but yes spa has always been my favourite too.
Always remember '98 which started with the pile up at the first turn in the rain, schumacher going for coulthard in the pits after a crash and ended with damon hill winning for jordan. Epic race on an epic circuit
