The TV coverage of this is insane, it makes the WRC look like a regional event.

The sound came back on and then went again. Stayed off after the coverage had ended so I presume it was Eurosport HD in general rather than something breaking in Monaco.

The mess with the tyres over SS7 and SS8 was probably the best motorsport I've seen on television ever.

Missed the first 10 minutes but will definately be watching the replay tonight.......hope the weather chucks another spanner in the works tomorrow.......great in-car cameras, I was on the edge of my sofa.........

How the drivers on slicks completed the stage at all was incredible driving, and the fog at the end of the stage added another difficulty to deal with for the cars without extra lights......

I watched the IRC all last year, some really great rallying & coverage I think it's actually more entertaining than the WRC now

I think Eurosport had 15+ hours of live coverage of Rally Monte Carlo last year including loads of heli-footage

Some excellent coverage again today, looking forward to tomorrow

Guy slipped back a bit during SS10 but Delecour lost time over SS10 and SS11 which leaves Guy still in touch of a podium.
Only thing is he said his tyres are good on 11 but not so good on 10, and SS12 and SS13 are just a rerun of those two so he might end up going nowhere unless Delecour performs poorly.

Apparently after the coverage finished Sarrazin intentionally took a time penalty at the last time control to help Wilks' championship, so he finished third rather than the fourth he was after the last special stage.
Petter retired on the road section.

Have to agree with that DP..........amazing roads and the rubber left on the corners is frightening......

Seems to let the helicopters get closer too, I gather the WRC helicopter cameras have to stay back/high because of the amount of dust they would kick up whereas the IRC ones track the cars more tightly.
