Alfas in the Bathurst 12 hour race

Just watching it now on Motors TV, quite a few out there. Mainly a production car race but on the classic Mount Panorama track in Australia
A 147 & 159 I've spotted so far, seem to be going quite well so far

Repeated again at 11-25pm tonight for anyone interested

Good stuff.

Thats a hell of a track, very twisty at the top with zero run off room if you get it wrong.

the bathurst 1000 with the aussie V8's would be my all time ultimate event to go and see

done the le mans 24 hours, wrc here and in spain, F1, touring cars etc but the aussie V8's would be a hell of a trip

The Alfa 159 won its segment of unique fuel types and has kept the record consistently since 2007. Least we can see a modern Alfa on the racetrack, especially looking as beautiful as a 159.

Salute, Giordano.

thats what makes Aussie drivers all the more skillful funny though one of the drivers of the 159 was a salesman from my local dealership, another the general manager.

Salute, Giordano.
