He can demand the money he has been asking for, was it 80% share in the Brawn team?

I believe Jenson was on 8M when he was with Honda, he had that dropped to 'just' 3m, all he his asking for is to be put back on the salary he was originally on, in perspective, MS was on 36M in his day! (Highest paid Sports person in the world at the time)

Just seen this on the BBC Website. On there its saying Jenson's most likely to go to McLaren, as he reckons Mclarens 2010 car is likely to be more competative than the Brawn.

McLaren could be an all British team for next year, which would be pretty cool!

I am very suprised at Ross Brawn selling a 75% stake in Brawn GP after this years success. I suppose it all comes down to money!

I'm sure that Mercedes will want the number 1 plate on their car, he was asking Brawn for 8 million, small change for Mercedes

Wasn't Brawn still majority owned by Honda? In which case they may well have gone over Ross' head.

There had been noises that this might happen, but nothing to say it would be a full pull out of McLaren.

Mercedes haven't "pulled out" of McLaren - the team will still be called McLaren Mercedes and they will still be providing engines - but they will be selling their shares in it over the next couple of years.

The rumour is of course that they will want two German drivers.......I'm not sure that Jenson would particularly want to share a team with Lewis - even if the car is good and they are both competitive, it must lessen the chance of retaining the title as both will be fighting for points.....
