Re: Button says Kubica wasn't a threat

I think that's right. Vettel Kubica wouldn't have made up enough in the last 3 laps to catch Jenson IMO and then pass him? No. I think Button looked to have a lot in reserve throughout the race. Very smooth looking drive.

Re: Button says Kubica wasn't a threat

BMW are just looking to create a siege mentality - "the whole world is against us" etc. It created a good team work ethic.

Kubica would never of caught Button. As Button said himself ""I was purposely driving very slowly, I wasn't turning in aggressively to any corners."

Motorsport rule No.374
To catch the leader you must to pass the second place man without wrecking your car.

And that's why I'm slightly concerned about the coming season. The Brawn GP car was so much faster than anything else out there on race pace.

It's all well and good having new regulations that improve the spectacle down the grid, but if the same cars are on pole and winning week in week out then it means nought.

I hope we see a closer fight for maximum points in the coming races.

You want a close up? I'm afraid the close up picture is a bit dark
