Re: Nurburgring 17 + 18 Februari

Wish I could be there, but I have friends from Belgium visiting me this week-end.
The weather here in Switzerland is great : loads of sun, no clouds and about 13° .. And I think it's not too different over there.

Have fun out there!

Re: Nurburgring 17 + 18 Februari

Thanks ! We will have to be carefull (night temperatures pretty low) especially in the early morning (not much grip probably).

As it looks right now, I'm leaving Saturday morning already, to do some extra laps
(as maybe Sunday morning (-2 Celcius at night) may have a little later opening time (and gives me the opportunity to sleep a little longer ))

Yesterday evening my Sabelt seats have taken over the place of the original ones, so that's a lot better (when cornering )

Sounds spiffing Robert

Aernudt's sounds lovely, but the growl from yours sounds awesome Robert!

I have nothing against BM's - sounds great too.

Were were they taken Shwendenkreuz and Fugplatz?

Cheers,
TB

Aernoudt's video was taken in Schwedenkreuz like you noticed.

My video is exiting Aremberg.

The BMW is Quidelbacher Hohe (over the bridge and onto the steep climb just before Flugplatz).

In May we have to get some of the visiting Alfa's on video also.

Luckily no speedcamera was hidden behind the sign

And I thought of that because I have just received another fanletter in the mailbox : 54km/h in a 50 zone at 0:30 in the morning.
I think I better go hand in my driverslicense to protect the community

Around 2.5 miles an hour over the limit, you should be ashamed..
..of your greedy politicians

I presume its all about money

It is
Just look at where they put the speed traps (at least here in the Netherlands). Nothing to do with safety, all with money

I am.
I dont feel upset about it like I used to, nothing I can do to fight it, or prevent it from happening in the future.

I am thinking very deeply for future actions on how to ... get this money back from them

Apologies for taking this off topic, it is probably obvious I am just a tad jealous
My first trip is planned for this weekend
