Top Gear Power lap

I have been looking at booking myself on the top gear test track, interested in how I could do on that track in my car, before I book for myself are there many others that might be up for it, its well overpriced for a track day and what you get but I fancy doing it anyway.

£189 is the first option, you basically get about an hour of tuition and 5 laps like the celebs do
£229 is much the same with a DVD of your experience
£249 with full data logging etc.

they also have the old Liana and I think you can have a bash in that.

If I could get few names down I may be able to get a discount, you never know.

Personally I was looking to do this on the way to the AO ring trip around Mid May, if it was possible that is but having not contacted them yet I don't know whats available.

What do you Reckon, any takers.

Re: Top Gear Power lap

Yes one person on the track, one to one tuition etc, which is why it costs a bit more than a normal pack 'em in trackday I suppose.

Re: Top Gear Power lap

Some people can drive, some people can't, some will take there car to the limit others won't, some of the celebs have done more laps and can drive and so are quite quick.

Its not just how good your car is that counts, also if your in your own car thats cost you loads you will tend to take it abit slower.

Whats the fastest car in the world..................

That would slow you down

Sounds like a neat idea, with huge bragging rights potential

...unless you are a crap driver with a rubbish car, AND it's wet and foggy
