National Meet 2004

OK guys, it was about this time last year that we decided to organise a National Meet for 2003.
Thought I'd start it off again as it'll probably take a while to organise (if it indeed happens).
Earlier this year we met at York (1st March).
Maybe meet next year at around the same(ish) time ???
Again, as last year, open to venue ideas.
For the majority of regular visitors here I imagine someplace in England would be best. Try to come to some compromise to a meeting place as peeps will be travelling from Scotland aswell as the far corners of England (hopefully).
It was great to meet folk last year, so how's about it ???

Either for me,rolling road or
track day.
Track day would be ace,
a 155.com battle
As long as no one ends up like
Tarquini, track-sky-track-sky-track eek!

anything to make a day out of would
be fine with me though.

Aaaaargh !!!!!
Ok what would people prefer. I reckon it would be "quite easy" to go to Kershaws again, but that wasn't a suitable location for some (although we can't please everybody). If it was a track day in England, someone with a bit more knowledge of local tracks etc would be better looking into it. I certainly could look at Knockhill and East Fortune to get availability and prices, but that is a hell of a lot of travelling for most of you. Bare in mind that a track day would have to be a whole day sesh to make it worthwhile for travellers and would be quite expensive (maybe 60-70 at least).

I'm actually OK with meeting somewhere, maybe getting a McD's and going on a scoot through country roads, then stopping off for a "pub" meal or something.

I'm happy to try and organise something nearer this end of the country (actually Jase is better at route planning for a run), but anyone can take over....honest .

So any ideas for locations/events etc.

I'm easy on location and activity type. If we do rolling road again I promise not to be a girl and actually go on it this time.

I quite like the idea of a scenic drive round though, and then book somewhere for lunch.

By the way, I'm mesmerised by Marlon's avatar. Kudos. Is that your missus???!!!

Rolling road sounds a good idea but would be just as happy screaming round the countryside as well

Where would be most central to everyone one or are we all gonna go to Wrinx`s for a barbeque

Btw the last time i was at ALTON TOWERS the Toyota MR2 owners club had a big meet there it`s another idea to think about

BW i know what you mean you seem to get stuck staring at Marlons posts

Btw we`ll find out if it`s his Mrs when we do the meeting

Alton Towers sounds a good idea actually.
Just thought I'd post again so you can have a double helping of Norks.
It's not my wife.....I have bigger fun bags than her

Hi i'll be happy for both at york last year most of the cars went through in 2 or 3 hours so there could be time for a drive as well. was there a place in the north east that had a rolling road & may'be some of us comming, from down south or the midlands could have various timed meeting points so we could have a drive together. just my thaughts.

it's weird - I try reading the thread, but I just end up mesmerised again. Might have to switch off avatar display option, or no work will get done this afternoon.

Does anyone know where I can buy a "woo yay!" top. I might get one for Tracee
