I hope SOUTH WEST ALFA DAY 2003

Lloyds Bank Ampitheatre, Harbourside, Bristol,
Sunday 14th September, 2003

Lloyd's Bank Ampitheatre
The Bristol & West Section will be hosting the Clubs traditional end of season event, at the Lloyds Bank Ampitheatre in the city’s harbourside area. This prestigious venue allows us to offer club members, a prime location for watching the coming and goings of boats and people along the dockside, together with attractions such as the SS Great Britain, and the replica of John Cabot’s ship “The Matthew” moored nearby.

Within two minutes walk is the Explore @ Bristol Exibition centre, the Wildlife @ Bristol & Imax centre, and the many bars & restaurants situated along the harbourside. There is also around the harbour boat tours, that run from the show site.

Cars will be displayed in the ampitheatre, and together with the usuall mix of club and trade stands, we hope to make this a really interesting day for club members and their families. Providing an alternative to the parkland setting that we have enjoyed but done in the past, this new venue gives us the chance to do and see something different.

Hope to see as many as possible of you there, on the 14th September.

John Puzey (Section Secretary, Bristol & West)

this works.

beds/oxon/east of england/and coming down
the A40 or surrounding area.
See if we can get a convoy going and show
the northerners that its not only them that
can do it

New to the board, but not to Alfa, I could well be up for this day out, and a meet at the services sounds like a good idea. What times do people have in mind?

OK, think MW's suggestion will be the
best one and meet at the M4/A34
junction, hows that for you jimbo?
I don't think its far out of your
way at all if you're coming from beds.
And MW are you still up for it?.
Anyone else Daarnn Saaf want to
meet up here???

Jimbo
I'm in the Heathrow area, so its fairly easy for me to get to most places and therefore whatever's going I'm likely to be interested.

Does anyone have a meet up time in mind for the M4 services?

I've got a '98 155 2.0TS 16v Super.

Simon.

Ok guys, the bristol & west secretary has
sent me some further details,
It starts at 10am and cost will
be £3 per car.
Also it says in the details he sent me
that other sections can reserve parking
so that all their cars will be together.
I realise that we are not a section
per se, but if we get enough going,
do you want me to contact
him again and see if he can do this for Alfa155.com?,
Also what are peoples preferences for
meeting time at the M4/A34 junction?,
as some have further to come than others.
