AROC racing, Donington April 12th

Seeing as us Northerners are not welcome at the Birmingham meet wink who's coming to Donington on the 12th?

The AROC racers have teamed up with the Jag club for an endurance race........should be a good day out for about a tenner entrance fee.

Anybody interested?

I'll probably go to this, what time does it start and when are you meeting up? Henry may be able to make it with his daughter.

11.00 at tibshelf services? Unless I find out the racing is earlier than that! Shouldn't be as they tend to practice in the morning.

If the racing doesn't start until that late, what time does it finish?

Cant find any info no the Donington site or the AROC site but a full day of events usually finnshes about 5-6pm. Dunno when the AROC cars will be out, could be anytime between 12 and 5 Still, there will be other cars racing and its always a good day....weather permitting!

I should be able to make it, but I won't be going to Tibshelf as I live pretty close to Donington.

Not 100% sure whether I'll be there or not, but there's a good chance I will be.

Craner Curves is OK (infield???) so I might see some of you there.

How about meeting on the Infield if we can?

Wrinx, do you mean driving into the infield, and if so would the ground clearance of my Berty mean taking the 155 would be a better option?

OK, I'll try and be at Craner Curves, infield at about 12ish. If we can't get into the infield I guess I'll be the other side of the track

I don't think you'd have any ground clearance problems on the infield especially. I'm guessing it won't be too busy for this sort of event (?!), so even at midday we might still get into one of the car-park bits rather than parking on the grass.

I'm going to be late - I can't make it for midday. I will aim for about 12.30, but will probably be closer to 1.

Spark, bw..........where you there? Only saw one other 155 and I know who that one belongs to.

Sorry if we missed each other.

Wrinx - I arrived about 1pm and parked up at Goddard's because we saw another 155 up there from a distance - but it wasn't you. We wandered around and found your car, but no sign of an owner.

We later drove over and parked up near you in case you were about, but no luck.

It was a good day, but a shame we missed you frown

Damn! Was the other one a Proteo Red 1.8 with black dished alloys? Belongs to a section member if it was.
